Students are to create their own workout video based upon the different workouts we have completed in class. The video must include a warm-up, exercise session, and cool down. It must also incorporate fitness terminology and identification of muscles. The video must be 5-7 minutes long and must be submitted on DVD, email or on a flash drive to be transferred to my computer.

Students are Rated and scored on the mechanics of their pass, not completely the number of successful passes. Students are scored at 12 possible points.

To assess right hand students/athletes on thier volleyball approach, spike, and follow through.

Practical assessment used at the end of the Volleyball Unit. Evaluation of Bump and Set skills are with partners. Evaluation of Serve and Spike are individual and with the added evaluation of the ball going over the net and in bounds.

Volleyball assessments

A rubric testing 4 skills in volleyball: serve receive, serving and attacking. Criteria are based upon varsity level skill. Administer 5 attempts for each skill, and assign each attempt a grade (poor/ fair/ good/ excellent).

9th-12 grade evaluation on fundamentals of a forearm pass in volleyball. Students will rate and score their peers on mechanics of the forarem pass.

Students will be assessed on throwing and catching skills related to softball. 1.PE1.D-Students use the basic principles of skill analysis to improve previously acquired skills and to continue to learn new skills and activities. • CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RST.9-10.3 Follow precisely a complex multistep procedure when carrying out experiments, taking measurements, or performing technical tasks, attending to special cases or exceptions defined in the text.

While having a catch with your partner, assess their throwing and catching technique and grade them on a scale of 1-10 on their performance and then switch.

How to shoot a basketball free throw

Basketball- students will dribble the ball with both hands, students will shoot the basketball, students will perform lay ups, students will show competency during a game situation.

This rubric is used to outline each individual cheerleader's performance on the day of tryouts. It is to judge their current condition as well as their future potential for the team. Each cheerleader will be judged equally with no bias opinion. All decisions made will be for the maximum benefit of the Abbeville High School cheerleading team for the 2012-2013 season. 6th grade evaluation of the fundemental skill of passing and catching a football. Students are rated and scored on the mechanics of their passing and catching, not the number of dropped passes or target accurancy-completely.
