Create a Virus Model Include anatomy, genetic material & label parts. Explain if this is a DNA or RNA virus. Include the target (host). An explanation of the virus life cycle is needed. Include major diseases caused by the virus, economic / human. Is there a vaccine or treatment available? If none, how is the infection cycle minimized (ex. sanitation). The students will put together a poster to show during their oral presentation. The poster will contain examples of 3 of the 6 key terms learned (Transverse wave, Longitudinal wave, Reflection, Refraction, Interference or Diffraction). The individual presentation must be aligned with the poster.

For the "Hack'N'Slash - Starfish Scientist Video Dissection Project" students complete & record a starfish dissection. During the video, the students are essentially interviewed and provide a report of: external anatomy, internal anatomy, tour and explain the body systems (respiratory, circulatory, excretory, digestive, locomotory, reproductive.)
