The student will be given something to memorize and record or something to recite to the teacher individually. They will be graded on flow, pronunciation, and preparedness.

You and a partner will create a Spanish game that covers what we've seen and done this year! It must include 50 questions and answers in Spanish that range from easy to complex, and you MUST be able to answer them all for your game. ALL games are due May 16th so we can play them before finals. Do your 50 q/a FIRST and show them to me. Get creative with the rest and have fun! Writing Rubric | Mid-term Examination

Groups will choose a topic. Each group will produce a lesson, complete with presentation, an exciting activity, a visual aide and an informative worksheet. Each group will prepare and practice their lesson in class before presenting their activity to the entire group. The presentation will take approximately 20 minutes.

Students work in small groups to teach information from their assigned textbook sections.

Novice mid speaks in present tense only, memorized phrases, answers and asks simple questions. Novice high Speaks in present, simple future, and past tenses. Can manipulate language to express a thought. Answer and ask questions in present and past tenses.

This rubric will assess the student in the teaching of a skill to an classmate or group of classmates.

Student will choose a food item to briefly research. This assignment will be submitted as a document to the Food/Culture Exploration Drop box. #1. Translate given questions. #2. Locate and write a recipe for food item grammatically correct in Spanish. #3. Answer 5 given questions in complete sentences in Spanish. #4. Cite at least one source using MLA style. #5. Include a full color & labeled map of the country of origin. #6. Include a picture of the food item at least a half page large. #7 . Bring in sample of food item to share and present information researched.
