Students are to design a pyramid and list the logistics of the pyramid (ie: size, purpose, location); Students are to design a sarcophagus based on the mummy's life

The rubric describes essential ingredients of how to reflect on and synthesize your learning. Your response should synthesize your the knowledge you have gained from multiple resources throughout this course.

Focus is on the process of one strategy.

Students are to create a timeline of the warnings received by the Titanic, impact, distress calls, and sinking of the Titanic. Location of the ice must be included when known, as well as the location of the ship's impact and location of sinking. (Using latitude and longitude.)

Student is to create a time line about the events that happened in the story,"Titanic:Lost and Found" in the correct time order.

After completion of group research poster, analyze the information to write a 5 paragraph paper demonstrating your knowledge of the differences in the 3 classes aboard the Titanic.

We have explored and discussed numerous Greek myths...now it is your turn to create your own in the likeness of the great Greeks! TASK: You will create a myth that explains a natural phenomenon such as the reason behind a volcano's eruption, earthquake, echoes, rainbows, droughts, hail etc. As you brainstorm what to write, it is important to remember that Greeks created their stories with a purpose. Everything they created had a reason. The main purpose of mythology was to explain the way their world worked or to help them understand mysteries of nature or human life. Your story should not only have beautiful language (personification, simile, metaphor, symbolism etc) but should also serve a function (explain something in nature).
