You are not required to produce drawings of each part, but in order to receive an A you will be required to produce drawings and an assembly of your design. The following tools must be used to complete your design(s) for full credit: Boss extrude, Revolved Boss/Base, Extruded Cut, Fillet or Chamfer, Swept Boss/Base, Linear or Circular Pattern, Lofted Boss/Base, User Created Planes, 3D Sketching, and Multibody Parts. All sketches must be fully defined.

Students will research and synthesize information into a report about a career that uses the Global Positioning System (GPS). The student's choice of a career must be approved by the instructor before continuing with research. The attached handout outlines the requirements for the report. Requirements are listed and explained the in rubric below. The Oregon Engineering Cluster Standards being assessed are also on the attached handout.

Students will create a 2 minute (minimum) How-To Video using the Movie Maker Program. The student must demonstrate to an audience how to do something. Assignment Requirements: 1. Length of video two minutes (minimum). 2. At least two different camera shot types. 3. Three Second titles between each step of the how to. 4. Finished subject showcased at the end of the video.

Students will work in teams of two to design, program, and build a tug-of-war car to compete against other students. After competition, students will submit a written reflection. Each paragraph submitted is required to be 5-6 sentences or will be considered incomplete. An alternative assessment will be given to groups who are not ready to compete on the day of competition, or who's robot fails to execute a program. The alternative assessment will be an individual project

Your commercial must be a production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product or go to a specific destination. Assignment Requirements: 1. Length of video 60 seconds. 2. At least 5 different camera shot types. 3. Titles/Illustrations. 4. 5 seconds black and logo. 5. Creativity with audio/video etc. 6. Persuasion to sale
