Scoop Comprehension Graphic Organizer

Students will independently complete webquest and learn one of the three types of rocks found in The Rock Cycle. Next students will team together to build an oral presentation. Finally, students will create a diagram of the Rock Cycle based on class presentations.

Students will research information related to a NJ County and illustrate concepts and information in a creative and attractive double-paged magazine spread.

Create a book report using a paper bag. The bag must contain 3-5 objects that represent important events from the book. Each item needs to be symbolic of an main character, setting, problem, or event in the story.

This book report will contain multiple paragraphs and will be limited to 3-5 pages (front side only). First: The report should include the title and author of the book and a complete description of the main characters. Second: Descriptive Settings should be included (When and where did the story takes place?). Third: The main events/summary must be included (What happened in the story?). Fourth: Would you recommend this book to other students? Why or why not?

Students will create a landuse map based on their dream home.

Stories Julian Tells Book Report

Write sentences using all fifteen spelling words. All sentences must be at least 7-10 words long. Each sentence must begin with a different word, capital letter and have proper end punctuation. Start each sentence on a new line. Number all sentences. Underline or highlight all spelling words. Make sure two of your sentences are questions (?) and one sentence uses a exclamation(!).
