Students create a visual about a person who has had the greatest influence on their life. Visual must include the name of the person who has had greatest influence on your life, picture of the person, at least 3 interesting facts about the person, and at least 3 ways that person has had a positive influence. Students may create the visual using hand drawn artwork or Glogster.

The project is to develop a power point presentation describing an assigned disease. The minimum number of slides in the powerpoint is 15 and the maximum is 25. The requirements include; what is the disease; cause; signs and symptoms; treatment; prognosis;prevention; and complications. Also include a title slide and a works cited/reference slide with at least 5 sources.

Student will create a PSA addressing a health topic to a specific audience.

The students will put together a brochure and prepare a short presentation. The brochure will contain information to inform others of the how harmful tobacco is to the body and society. This brochure can also explain how expensive this deadly habit is and helpful tips for quitting These items should all be included in this brochure , but not limited to just these topics.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the theme of Bullying/"Look At Me, I'm Drug Free"/Anti-Smoking. Students will provide bullying scenarios and demonstrate bullying mediation techniques in a creative and colorful poster/pictures or scenarios displaying a "Drug Free" individual/pictures or scenarios following a anti-smoking theme. The poster will be designed on poster board (1/2 or full-sized poster board).

STUDENTS will be able to complete a diet diary for four days by documenting all foods and drinks, classifying items into the correct food groups, and determining if dietary goals are being met. Body fat and physical activity also documented. What changes need to be made and how to calculate weight loss to get there.
