You and a group of classmates create 6 sentences in which you demonstrate your understanding of the correct usage of the verbe avoir. Students will write 5 or more grammatically correct sentences in French with the equivalent English. They are to describe the clothing worn by their "stuffy" using "Porter" in present tense and an adjective descriptor.

Students will create a comic strip in French, focusing on character development and all relating details such as habits, special tools or powers, qualities and sayings, in the rough draft (brouillon) stage. Students will demonstrate their understanding of the steps and elements of a "bande dessinée" throughout the creation process and with the final presentation of their comic strip.

You will build a monster using Play-Doh and label all body parts that are present. There must be a minimum of 12 body parts. Be sure to use the correct articles and follow all pluralization rules. The designs are to be creative and clear. All body parts are to be clearly and correctly labeled. Once you have completed designing, you will ensure your name is displayed beside the monster. Your work will be assessed by your peers for accuracy. You will have a max. of 15 min. to create and label your monster. The purpose of the activity is to review and apply relevant vocabulary, so try to pick body parts that you will make referance to more often when you speak French.

For vocabulary or spelling, use with fill in the blanks (reading and writing) and or sentence construction.

Reading aloud a French story. This is intended for a beginner French level class. It is also used with the AIM method of teaching French.
