This rubric is for grading a Grade 12 English assignment designed to prepare students for university level argumentative essays using quotations from texts. External research and citations are not required (See Meta-Essay Rubric).

The students will be creating a game by programming using code.org website. The intent in this course is to develop a good understanding of programming. All elements of their work, participation, and codes will be assessed.

All bridges must be made out of manila folders, card stock and white or wood glue. The bridge must be constructed using the schedule of materials and drawings included in the activity packets.

This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during activities (work, class, meeting, assembly, etc.). I have purposely weighted each criteria this way as I believe this rubric will be fairer to the lower level students that are trying to participate rather than those that are largely unresponsive in class - Fair = 3 and Poor = 1
