Book Summary Rubric
You book summary must be composed of 3 paragraphs. 1. Main Character and Setting: 1st paragraph tell the setting and who the main characters are. Don’t just list them; describe them with details! 2. Summary: 2nd paragraph, summarize the plot of the novel. Tell the 5 most important things that happened. 3. Evaluation: 3rd paragraph give your personal opinion of the book. Give it some serious thought. Tell what you liked and didn’t like about the novel and why.
