School Map
Draw a simple map of your school. Create symbols that represent the important places in the school (such as the administrative and headmaster's office). Draw it as if it were in the hands of a tourist who wants to explore the school. It must be accurate and include all of the important places. It must include a key, should be well presented and creative.

Short Story
Write a short story (1 page) about how slaves would carry water from a well or river to the town. The order of events should be clear, it must be accurate which includes relevant information and be creative. Your piece should also have a conclusion. Use the sources (pictures included) that have been covered in class.

Island Map
Draw an A4 map of an island that represents you as an individual. Using the information that you have learnt about the importance of signs, map out the various places on your island that tell me more about who you are and what you like. Include a detailed key of these different places and give each place interesting and catchy names. Make sure that you give your island a name too. Be creative and make it colourful.
