Cat in a Pumpkin Folk Art
Students began with a directed draw of the pumpkin and then a cat popping out of the top of it. Students then created a background with a purple sky, stars and a moon with a the pumpkin sitting on a patch of grass. The students used either colored pencil, crayon, or marker to create a bright, bold pumpkin and black cat. Students completed the project by coloring in the background.
