The 2nd grade student will complete an All About Me book about themselves. They must include: 5 basic facts about themselves (ie - birthday, number of siblings, where they were born); 5 of their hobbies and/or dislikes; 5 goals that they have for the future. They must include 3 drawn pictures of themselves depicting any of the things discussed in their book (ie - a picture of themselves playing their favorite sport, a picture of themselves celebrating a holiday with their family, etc.)

Understand place value notation for the numbers between 1 and 120. TLW be able to show and decompose numbers with the appropriate number of tens and ones using manipulatives and models. E= 7-8 points S=5-6 points NI=3-4 points U=0-2 points

After seeing and creating as a class a “5 Senses” poem, the students will then write their own “5 Senses” poem about a chosen place using each of the 5 senses correctly

Students will be able to identify the three states of matter in the classroom.

Students will be able to give correct answers for three digit addition problems.

Students will draw a beginning, middle, and end of a story previously heard and write one sentence to explain each event.
