This Rubric is designed to assess your performance in bringing together information presented during class into a propaganda poster. Students must create their own piece of Cold War Propaganda using original images. They must include a paragraph explaining the concept/image that is represented on their poster as well as what emotion the poster they have created is selling to the viewer.

Develop a presentation to share the most important information about your topic to the class through an interactive, engaging presentation. You must include vocabulary, give at least two examples and have an example for the students to complete. Must ask students engaging an topic appriopiate questions to check for understanding.

Students will incorporate information from individual research investigations into a visual representation following the specified criteria.

Oral communication is a prepared, purposeful presentation designed to increase knowledge, to foster understanding, or to promote change in the listeners' attitudes, values, beliefs, or behaviors. Oral communication takes many forms. This rubric is specifically designed to evaluate oral presentations of a single speaker at a time and is best applied to live or video-recorded presentations. For panel presentations or group presentations, it is recommended that each speaker be evaluated separately. This rubric best applies to presentations of sufficient length such that a central message is conveyed, supported by one or more forms of supporting materials and includes a purposeful organization. An oral answer to a single question not designed to be structured into a presentation does not readily apply to this rubric.

Be assetive yet polite during the disucssion stage of the simulation. Follow correct U.N. guidelines for questioning and making motions. Clearly communicate your country's position on the topic and rubutt the arguments of opposing nations.
