Specific Expectation: Students will create a map of at least 6 (including McDonough) Georgia cities and counties. An image of the city must be included. The student will identify two attractions in each of the 5 cities. A two-three sentence description of the visit in each city is required including time it took to travel from one city to the next and the interstates/highways taken. Students must create a numbered itinerary and a playlist of songs with titles that are school appropriate.

This rubric is for your Culture virtual museum. Make sure you select images, videos, music, etc. that accurately reflect the diffusion of cultures in your country. Make sure you have text to explain each image, etc.

Students will create a flag that represents a flag flown during the American Revolution and write a two-page, double spaced history of the flag.

Design a board game based on seven events that you feel were most important on America's road to independence. Game can be in the style of an existing game (Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, etc) or something new and unique.

Students will make 2 political cartoons 6 slides each showing what the women did during WWII to help the war effort and then another cartoon showing the life of women after WWII.

Students will create a non fiction picture book related to the American Revolution
