In Class Film Viewing Rubric

A Different Perspective
Choose a different character from the story, novel, or play you are reading and re-write any scene from the literature from that character's perspective. This is good for any story that has an unreliable narrator and/or first person narration.

Quote Response Journal
Students are to chose 10-15 significant quotes from any unit of literature currently studied in class. These quotes must be significant in terms of plot, theme, and/or character. Responses should reflect understanding of plot by providing a brief description of background information explaining what is happening in the story in connection with the quote.

Basic Research Paper
Research the approved topic. Include a work cited page with the required references used in researching the paper. Paper will be graded on sufficiency of research to support the thesis, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, and relevance of included information. Grade will be based on organization, clarity, ability to translate research in writer's own words, use of transitions, appropriate voice, correct citation format, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
