S8P4.b Describe how the behavior of light waves is affected by reflection, refraction, diffraction, and absorption. Light waves change when they hit material, the way they change depend on the material the waves hit. S8P4.d Describe how waves behave differently as they pass through different solids; through liquids, such as water; through gases, such as air.
