Google Presentation Rubric
The rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Google Presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for the assignment. Review of the rubric carefully before, during, and after the creation of the Google Presentation to ensure that all intended elements of your Google presentation have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Industrial Revolution Editorial Poster
You will assume the role of an English journalist in 1830 to create an editorial poster for the London Times that comments on whether the Industrial Revolution improved life and that suggests ways to address problems created by it. Poster must include visuals and must be in color.

World War II research and presentation poster rubric
The students will research and put together a poster presentation about World War II. The presentation will contain information and pictures that the students collected regarding information about World War II. The oral presentation must be aligned with their information and pictures on their posters. In total, the student should have ten facts that will provide their classmates a better understanding of why World War II was fought, who was involved in the War, and what the effects of World War II were on the United States. Each of the ten facts should have at least one picture to represent it on the poster.

Oral Presentation Rubric
Oral communication is a prepared, purposeful presentation designed to increase knowledge, to foster understanding, or to promote change in the listeners' attitudes, values, beliefs, or behaviors. Oral communication takes many forms. This rubric is specifically designed to evaluate oral presentations of a single speaker at a time and is best applied to live or video-recorded presentations. For panel presentations or group presentations, it is recommended that each speaker be evaluated separately. This rubric best applies to presentations of sufficient length such that a central message is conveyed, supported by one or more forms of supporting materials and includes a purposeful organization. An oral answer to a single question not designed to be structured into a presentation does not readily apply to this rubric.

Brochure Requirements After reading the Realistic Fiction book of your choice, you need to create a brochure to tell about your book. Brochures are used to tell about something in a fun, interesting, and brief way so that people want to know more about whatever is being advertised. When creating your brochure, make it so that someone would want to read your book after looking at your brochure.
