You will be assigned a famous Spanish or Latin American artist. You may choose a painter, a classical musician or a sculptor. Your artist can be from any period; gothic, baroque, renaissance or contemporary. You must research your artist and select a piece of particular interest to you. You will write three paragraphs. In paragraph 1, you will introduce your assigned artist and give a short biography. In paragraph 2, you will state the period in which the work was created and describe the traditional characteristics of the period. Also, what have critics said about your artist's style and technique? In the 3rd paragraph, you will express why you've selected this particular piece. For example, how did the piece make you feel? Does the piece speak to you? DO NOT USE TRANSLATORS! MUST BE TYPED!
