Students will create a newscast about the rescue of Judy's cat. They will write a script of the newscast, create posters depicting the scene and present the newscast to the class.

Read and discuss the 3 problems in your groups. Construct a graph that best describes the problems, then analyze why the graph you chose is best for the problem given. Provide 2 reasons for choosing your graph on each problem. Produce a similar problem that can be graphed and then create a graph that appropriately represents your problem. Provide 2 reasons why you chose this graph as well. Make sure all graphs are labeled correctly and show your work. Once you are finished, make sure everyones name in your group is on your papers.

Student is to draw one of their initals in one quadrant of the coordinate plane and then use at least two of the three different transformations to move the figure to the other quadrants. The student is to explain what transformation was done, and how they did it. The next step is to draw the inital in the empty quadrant and then show the lines of symmetry or rotational symmetry. The student is to explain how many lines of symmetry there are. They are to label all the coordinates on the diagram on all four initials. Then they are to creatively decorate the inital using colored pencils, markers or any other artistic medium. They may use notebook paper if necessary for the descriptions.

Students demonstrate their understanding of the targeted scientific concepts as well as proficiency as technical writers by correctly summarizing their thought process and activities for lab investigations.

Students must create 2-tab foldable of photosynthesis and cellular respiration following the instructions for the foldable given in class.

Students will create at least a 20 word crossword puzzle.

Students create a website summarizing biomedical research for the Mass Society of Biomedical Research.

Student creates a digital storybook describing Newton's Three Laws of Motion. The book must include: the 3 laws, a description of the law, a diagram representing the law, and an explanation of how their diagram represents that law of motion.
