This rubric is to be used to assess a student's final copy of a feature or sports article in the sports section of the newspaper.

Description of the students imaginary or real family members, using the present tense and vocabulary learned. Grammar focus: ser,estar, tener, -ar,-er,-ir verbs, and possessive adjectives. Vocabulary focus: adjectives, family vocabulary, verb list of -ar, -er,-ir verbs.

You will create an interactive menu in Spanish using sliderocket.

You and a classmate will be taking a trip to an assigned Spanish speaking country. Like any good tourist, you must prepare yourself before you visit in order to get the most from your trip! You will need to research your country to learn about the culture, weather & climate, currency of the country, religion, foods, housing, famous landmarks and government. I also want to know what a round trip ticket would cost from Texas. Include all travel documents you will need to travel to that country as well. Divide up the work with your partner to complete Part 1 (RESEARCH & FORMAT), Part 2 (DRAW IT!) - Map & Flag and Part 3 (Oral Presentation) - Speaking & Culture
