Below are the criteria for a well-planned and designed six-panel brochure. The program used is Adobe Photoshop.

Students will create an advertisement using persuasive details and emotional appeals; complete with logo and word choice. Students also will provide a reflection, stating their emotional appeals and how the product came to be. Choose HOW you want to market it and WHO you want to sell it to. Decide how best you can persuade those buyers to purchase your product.

Rubric for Social Networking Site

Students will be responsible for thoroughly presenting a social media marketing plan.

This rubric covers both types of perspective: one point and two point. The requirements for each are included below.

The students will develop and design a Magazine Spread that showcases your groups and interviews the group.

Develop a magazine article based on the notes in your textbook on 'What is Design'. Write at least a half page article using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Once you have written the article, then using Scribus format the text and add graphics to create a pleasing 1 page spread for a magazine.

Develop a magazine article on a topic of your choice. Write at least a 1 page article using proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Once you have written the article, then using Photoshop and Illustrator, format the text and add graphics to create a pleasing 2 page (18x12") spread for a magazine. Students will tell the story of their topic both visually and with the written word.

Create a magazine spread that replicates your favorite magazine. Choose the publication of your choice. Be sure you select one that showcases all the InDesign elements that have been practiced and applied in class. Pay attention to detail and make the finished product look as professional as possible. Follow all your desktop publishing guidelines using InDesign and Photoshop. The final project must be an Indesign document.
