The Roadtrip--Part 2

Career Poster
Students will do research on a career of their choice and create an informational poster using Microsoft Word. Poster should include: Title, job description, personal skills for that career, salary range, training, nature of work, working conditions, occupational outlook (must be quantifiable), advantages/disadvantages to the career, things which can be done to prepare for this job this year to move towards this occupation, classes that can be taken in High School to prepare for this career and opportunities to explore this career locally.

Historical FAKEBook Page
Create a Fakebook page using biographical information from a historical figure from the Civil Rights Era. Include the personal information, qualities, and contributions of the person. This Fakebook page is an imaginary recreation of the "Facebook." The page should be the profile page and include conversations between your historical figure, as well as others.

Operating System Presentation
Student is assuming the role of an I.T. manager, and is to recommend whether or not to buy a specific operating system based on research he/she has gathered. The student can present their material in a method of their choosing: Powerpoint, Oral, as a Proposal, or in a Poster Display. However, they must include a Handout for their classmates, and they must speak on their topic for at least five minutes.

Computer Stripping: What's inside a computer?
After you have stripped your computer, submit a presentation of annotated photos of at least 10 components so that you answer the question, "What is inside a computer and what does each part do?". The annotations should clearly address: What is the component in the photo?; What does the part do?; Something interesting about the component. The annotations must be in your own words with references to any external information you have used. Be succinct!
