This research paper proposal should contain the elements of an introduction, statement of a research problem, details pertaining to the methodological design, and a beginning literature review.

Choose a full-length article in a peer reviewed journal that reviews research on any topic in policing. Write a literature review that examines the structure and includes a summary and assessment of the article. The review should be 2-3 pages in length and a maximum of 1000 words. Please submit this electronically by way of Turnitin on Blackboard and during our class time.

This major paper will follow the APA style and be 2000-2500 words in length, not including the title page, table of contents or reference page/s. The reference page should include at least six (6) sources. The paper will be graded on the ability to apply concepts covered in class to the social movement of choice, the quality of research, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources and relevance of included information.

You are to review at least six sources of literature with a minimum of five recent (within the past ten years) peer-review journal articles. You should have an introduction, body with examples and conclusion which shows how this information will be used to help you design the proposed investigation. Your references must be included at the end of your paper. Paper must be typed and the APA format used.
