Course Competencies Banner Project Pharmacology
The Banner Project is to assess: 1. The students ability to identify, teach, administer and document medications given by various routes. 2. The students ability to assess the client for actual or potential side effects and adverse effects of medications. 3. Indentify the client's perception of health status and need for consultation with other health care providers. 4. Evaluate the clients readiness to learn, learning preferences and barriers to learning preferences and barriers to learning. **LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE INSTRUCTOR. Appreciating the Complexity of Nursing Rubric
The goal of this assignment is to allow the student to reflect on the complexity of nursing work. The assignment requires the student observe a nurse, ask questions, review the chart, and interact with patients. Following the observation, the student will reflect on the work environment and how the environment influences patient safety and quality of care. The student will submit a paper one week following the observation written according to the guidelines addressed in the rubric.

NUR 112 Concept-Based Teach Assignment
