Scientific misconceptions
Research the approved topic and question. Submit double spaced, 14 point TNR font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

Energy Pyramid and Levels of Organization
Students will create a pyramid shaped poster that will represent an energy pyramid that shows energy transfer through a food chain. The other side of your pyramid shaped poster will represent ecological levels of organization. Your pyramids should be symmetrical and nice to look at.

Planet earth & Beyond
The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on poster board (full-sized poster board) with the option of including a model.

Energy Pyramid
Students will create an energy pyramid. The pyramid should be drawn and labeled neatly. The pyramid should show at least 7 varieties of energy sources (kinds of animals and plants) as well as what type of source they are (prducer or consumer). Use your text book for labeling, spelling, and examples.
