Students will write a letter to their future selves to help them think about who they want to become and where they want to be in the future.

Students will create a presentation about their childhood to demonstrate understanding of the conjugation and basic usage of the Imparfait and Passé Composé. They will include details about their personality, physical traits, school experience, their favorite foods, activities they enjoyed and ones they didn't, people they liked and ones they didn't, and what they miss the most about their childhood.

Write & present a 1 min. script for a TV commercial that highlights the issues of excessive internet & screen use; persuade people to change their behavior. Use at least 7 of the vocabulary words related to electronic devices recently presented in class. You can have a specific target audience i.e.. teens and/or children and adults. Everyone in the group Must have a speaking part. Must use props & visual aids (where possible). There will be a live performance of your commercial in class.

Don’t forget to add a greeting and closing for the dialogue. Remember: this is a formal conversation, so you can only use Vous during the exchange. 15 -20 phrases 2 personnes

You will be creating an autobiographical electronic photo album in French using diverse vocabulary and past tenses. You will talk about "Mon Enfance", " following the questions asked. The electronic album will include either photos or images that support the short descriptions and stories that you tell.

The purpose of this project is to facilitate student learning about travel to a French-speaking country. The student will pretend that he/she has a budget of $3500 to visit a minimum of 3 cities in 2 or more French-speaking countries (or French territories) for 2-5 days each and will make round trip travel arrangements to and from their chosen countries. To be prepared for the trip, the student will use technology to conduct internet research, books and travel brochures in order to be able to answer questions about their chosen countries' culture, government, religion, social events, recreational pastimes, history, economics, etc. After the student has gathered all of the research, s/he will synthesize the information and create a comprehensive itinerary in French (French III & IV) or in English (French I & II) for the trip. This itinerary will then be presented to the class. French I & II will need to memorize 5-10 basic French sentences for the presentation as well.

• Each student must ask at least three separate questions that begin: <<Combien de/d'...>>>, <<Est-ce que tu as un/une/des...>>, and <<Comment s'appelle ton/ta/tes...>> • Each student must respond to the questions asked in complete sentences. • Each dialogue must use mon, ma, mes, ton, ta, and tes at least once.

Students will make a family tree in French on powerpoint. You must include at least 10 family members. You must include a combination of both immediate and extended family and you must include yourself on the tree. You must have: 1. A picture for each family member 2. A family vocabulary term 3. A possessive adjective (mon, ma) 4. The relationship of that family member to another family member. Example: Voila Catherine. C'est ma mère. Elle est la fille de ma grand-mère.

Students will work in a group (4) to create and present a slide show based on a day in the life of a celebrity/character.

In groups of 4 create a skit that takes place in French specialty stores, markets, or supermarkets. Lines should be memorized and guidelines and requirements listed on the assignment sheet should be followed / included.

After reading the fable La Cigale et la Fourmi, you will write an original fable of your own in French. You must have the following elements: title, characters, plot, problem, and moral. Be mindful of the mood you wish to create by the tone in which you write.

Create a presentation (Powerpoint, Keynote, Prezzi, Moviemaker, I-Photo, using pictures from your personal photo album or authorized websites to illustrate your writing (minimum 10 slides)
