Every week you will be asked to complete 1 Achieve 3000 article a week. It will be due every Monday.

Students will create a project based on a story, poem, or play of their choosing from this year's reading.

Directions: In groups of 2-3 you will complete a graphic novel focused on the topic of racism. Remember this is not a project to bash other races or make fun of other cultures. This assignment will help to expose the racism that still exists in America. All graphic novel projects must end with a positive theme and understanding of other races and cultures. NOTE: If your novel does not have a positive theme then it will be a zero for this assignment.

Use evidence to support the explanation. In an additional paragraph, extend this element of the character and connect it to the plot. You may explain something that has happened with the character using your above analysis. You may predict something that will happen to the character using your above analysis.
