You will create a new Superhero. He/she must have a name, special powers, costume, weaknesses, secret identity, and an explanation of how they are able to function as a SuperHero and manage their Tourettes at the same time in an Imaginative Essay. The poster will be designed on paper at least your height. Your Superhero will also contain key vocabulary words that you have learned since October and the coping with anxiety strategies.

Create a 3-5 minute video that highlights your knowledge about an event in United States History. Your video must be a music video. The video must be professional and focus on teaching content in a fun/imaginative fashion.

This rubric was used for assessing a community based research essay. The students had submitted a proposal for the essay. Each proposal contained: a description of the community controversy that was proposed for research; community based research plan that went beyond print or electronic sources.

Students are required to create their own dances, in groups no larger than four students. Dance routines are required to be two minute in duration. Dance moves learned in class, i.e. line dances (the base), hip-hop, and modern dance, are encouraged to be incorporated in your dance routines.

These are the criteria I'll use to determine the grade for each dance taught in the class.
