The menu should include at least 5 sections on the menu: such as appetizer, set menu, side menu, desserts, and drinks. There should be at least 25 food items on the menu. The menu should be visually pleasing with easily identifiable headings, prices (in the local currency), and pictures.

Students will give a persuasive speech exploring ideas presented in their papers. They will be assessed on use of persuasive language, content and style of delivery. Speeches need to be a minimum of 3 minutes long and no longer than 5 minutes.

Student persuasive essay that uses facts, reasons and details to back up their argument. TEK-ELA 4.19 Students will write persuasive texts to influence the attitudes or actions of a specific audience on specific issues. 4.19A Students will write persuasive essays for appropriate audiences that establish a position and use supporting details.

Students will create a "Cooking video" that will be 5-7 minutes in length with a recipe and a dialogue storyboard included. You can choose any type of dish. The recipe should be in Mandarin with detailed directions and a picture. The video must include each partner speaking total of 100 words in Mandarin. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video. The final recipe and script due 3/7/2016 the video is due 3/18/2016

Introduce and describe your family members and relatives to the third generation. Describe what they are like and what they like to do.

Each day, homework will be graded by this rubric. Homework is done on a 4pt scale and coupled with quizzes and project, accounts for 25% of each modality of the final grade. Homework is important for practice and learning. I ask that students keep graded homework in a binder or folder, make corrections, ask questions, and not fall behind on assignments. *Homework is expected to return with correction, and there will be 1pt deduction with no-correction homework.
