Dramatize a Historical Event and discuss/demonstrate the 5 Elements of Drama as they relate to the Event

Students will create a video to introduce their hometown. Each student is responsible for 2 minutes of the video and will be part of a group of 3 or 4 students. The videos should include original material (videos, pictures) as well as speaking by the student. If Chinese is used, there must be subtitles

Short Story Presentation that evaluates the following areas: 1. The effect the author's life impacted the literature. 2. The summary of the plot of the story. 3. The analysis of literary techniques used in the work. 4. The quality of the powerpoint/poster used in the presentation. 5. The use of hand-outs for presenation. 6. The quality of the oral presentation. 7. The preparedness of the presentation. 8. The timeliness of the assignment.

This rubric is for the 4th grade Civil War project storyboard and script. Students will create a storyboard to help guide the Shadow Puppet presentation that they will be creating on their Civil War person or event. Students will need at least 7-8 slides. The storyboard should overall present the person or topic in a complete and interesting manner. Storyboard should be neat, organized, and easy to understand.

In groups of 6-7 and you will produce a visual news report. you have been asked to report on the story happening in the community of Goodie Land. Your job is to report what has taken place so far, interview the suspects and the police, and ensure that the viewer is aware that there is more than one point of view to this story. When finished watching the news story the viewer should understand that there is one event but 4 different ways of looking at what happened.
