To help celebrate Black History month, students had to read a biography and had to complete a biography poster of their assigned person.

This assessment was worth 100 points! Students were required to use a graphic organizer to help them write down their thoughts before they wrote their first draft of a summary of their book. They needed to write the title, author tell where the events took place, and give details about the people and things that happened. In addition they needed to write an opinion of the book. The second part of the assessment was to choose one activity from the book menu.
