Teamwork is behaviors under the control of individual team members. Two characteristics define the ways in which this rubric is to be used. First, the rubric is meant to assess the teamwork of an individual student, not the team as a whole. Teamwork is behaviors under the control of individual team members (effort they put into team tasks, their manner of interacting with others on team, and the quantity and quality of contributions they make to team discussions.) Two characteristics define the ways in which this rubric is to be used. First, the rubric is meant to assess the teamwork of an individual student, not the team as a whole. Therefore, it is possible for a student to receive high ratings, even if the team as a whole is rather flawed. Similarly, a student could receive low ratings, even if the team as a whole works fairly well. Second, this rubric is designed to measure the quality of a process, rather than the quality of an end product. As a result, work samples or collections of work will need to include some evidence of the individual’s interactions within the team. The final product of the team’s work is insufficient, as it does not provide insight into the functioning of the team. Courtesy of AAC&U.

Given client based specifics and several site options, students are to prepare and complete a working set of Drawings. Each stage of the process is to be graded separately although stages are not expected to be 100% complete there will be a certain amount of completion expected according to what has been covered in curriculum at the time.

This rubric will give the students a guidline to follow in order to complete his/her work to the best of their ability. Itwill also allow them to see what area they may need improvement on in order for them to score the maximum amount of points toward their grade on each project.

Students will create a cottage per instructions, with the use of the program. A print will be done representing presentations of the cottage printed on 8.5x11.

Floor plan rubric

Students act as architects hired to design a home for their teacher. Students use the design process to create plans for a house using CAD accompanied by a written report that includes research and analysis of their final design.
