This rubric will be used to assess the success of the response to the story

Student will create a project to demonstrate his/her knowledge about a human body system. Student will address all of the organs in the system, the functions within the body system and why the body system is important for survival. A one page written report on how the system works will be required as part of the project. An oral presentation of their project to explain and answer questions on their system will be a portion of their grade.

Students do a poster explaining what their system is, how it works, interesting facts and a labelled diagram.

The students will put together a case study about a Global Resource environmental issue facing different countries in the world. They will develop a multi-media presentation.

Presenting a power point and diorama of one of the Ancient Civiliaztions: China, Greece and Egypt

This rubric will assist in assessing a nonfiction report on a biography. The students will read and choose a selected book on a person. They are then to complete interview questions to conduct a survey for their own biography. They will write a final presentation. The final presentation needs to include a one page paper. In addition, they will be presenting this presentation orally.

Using two or more sources, students will create a biographical sketch of their subject's most important achievements (what did they contribute to society and how has it impacted your life).
