The student will create an original work of art that depicts a MAJOR theme from the novel. Drawings or painting should be no more than half of a poster board. In addition to the artwork, the student will type a two page paper MLA style. (If you have forgotten MLA style, check this website: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/. The paper should give an original synopsis of the novel and explain how the artwork accurately depicts that theme. Complete the webquest for the test.

Students are to create a movie trailer based on the novel they just read. Their job is to think about what the author was trying to convey and then capture the plot line, complete with theme and symbols, and present in a short film.
