This rubric is to grade student's research of a human body system, describing it's function, the main organs or body parts involved and a few major diseases or illnesses associated with that system. Students will describe the changes of this body system throughout a person's life and how this system interacts with other body systems Each student will give an oral presentation using their interactive poster/bulletin board. The board must include all key facts about the system, be creatively displayed, include ways that other students can interact with the board, such as a lift-a-flap game or puzzle. A bibliography must be pasted onto the back of the board with at least one non-internet resouce.

Directions: 1. As you read, write an R next to parts of the story that remind you of something in your life. 2. In the column WHAT THE STORY IS ABOUT, write a short summary of the story telling what happened in the beginning, middle, and the end. Be sure to use the characters' names. 3. Use the parts of the story where you marked an R to list your reminders in the column WHAT THE STORY REMINDS ME OF. Number each reminder (1, 2, 3, and so on) and use your BEST handwriting.

This is a final project that integrates ecology and biology. Students create a biome then write a report that includes the biome's locations/characteristics and plant & animal life found there. Reports are required to specifically discuss climate, location, plant life and animal life in the biome. A poster or diorama must also be created to model the biome's features.
