Below are the criteria for a well-planned and designed six-panel brochure. The program used is Adobe InDesign.

Student will learn to produce quality images for print, web and video. Student will learn essential graphic design principles and how digital images are created. Students will analyze, enhance, and edit images using Adobe Photoshop. In this project students will learn the basics of photography, image composition, and elements of visual design as they create a collage.

"all about me" self-expression project

This is part 1 of a 3 part InDesign assignment. It involves planning and developing the content for a video game guide, the final product being a document containing all headings, sections, and copy to eventually be used in the final InDesign document.

Photo Collage made to demonstrate knowledge of elements and principles of composition/design. Photoshop tools should be used effectively. 1 final image should be posted on NING.com in a JPEG format AND the original Photoshop (.PSD file) has to be uploaded to the COLWEB col.cdm.depaul.edu . You might use text and/or any other design element available to you in photoshop. Emphasis on experimentation and attention to detail. Be prepared to discuss your strategies and to talk about your piece. Assignment due half hour before the beginning of class on due date. No late assignments will be accepted. Plan accordingly.
