Write and present a 30-60 second ad script for Televison. Announcement must include an attention getter, name of the product, why auidience should buy it (argument), why they shouldn't buy another product (counter argument) and what you want your audience to do (call to action)-BUY THE PRODUCT!. May include music in background. Can use the power of your voice AND Visual aids (your product). You may use any persuasive technique that a television ad would have BUT this will be performed live in class.

The class will gather information from the computer lab, and take notes on the Civil War. The task is to write at least five paragraphs concerning the American Civil War.

Create a Facebook profile for the a important figure of the Renaissance/Reformation.

Students will create a project on the life of a Renaissance or Reformation figure.

Students have to write a 3 paragraph (15 sentence) essay on a president of the United States who was born in Virginia. They will have to include the president of the United States background including when and where they were born, what # the president was, and the years served as president and the achievements. There should be at least five timeline sheet inside the sheet protector along with the essay.

Objective: Students will learn about paleolithic and neolithic ages by designing a poster that compares those ages.

Students use recycled materials to create something useful. The project is due April 30.

The poster should be done on half size of regular poster board. Students need to turn in their posters by October 23,2014. They can choose from the following: 1) Navajo 2) Yurok 3) Cherokee 4) Haudenosaunee
