ELA/Writers Workshop Binder
Binders to contain class hand outs, Notes from lessons, reading logs, writing examples and in process work. Should have "Table of Contents" as well as some sort of individual glossary or word list with definitions. Should be neat and organized.

Organelle Under a Microscope
Students will construct plant or animal cell Organelles that are large to simulate what it would look like if we were looking at it under a microscope. Student will write on the back of the Organelle what its function is and make a comparison to a job that exists in the school, community or at home. The student will then explain what would happen if that Organelle was removed from the cell.

Team Cell Model
Students must create a cell model of ONE of the following cell types: plant cell, or animal cell. Student must label all parts of the cell. Must also have completed cell chart with each Organelle labeled and colored to match their model.
