Unit 4 Project
We are at the mid-point of the year in this course, and I would like to evaluate what you have retained thus far with your demonstration of skills in this project. You will have three choices of presentation, which all consist of the same objectives. Your three choices are: 1. Comic Book - Create a comic book, which includes both illustrations and dialogue. 2. Dialogue - Create a dialogue for a skit or puppet show. You must perform this option in front of the class, and it should be no less than two minutes and no more than five minutes. 3. Journal - Create a journal with entries that introduce you, at least one friend, and a typical day in your school life. This should be put together in a diary/journal type format.

Restaurant Dialogue
You are in a restaurant in France where you meet up with your friend who has been going to college in France for the past 6 months. You must learn to use the knife and fork according to French customs, order in French, ask for the bill, etc... Each actor must have at least 5 spoken lines. Use vocabulary from your red text books and your notes. DO NOT USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE. I WILL KNOW

Monthly Writing Rubric
This rubric will be used to assess students monthly writing assignments. Key Questions: Does the writer stay focused and share insightful information related to the given task? Does the writer’s use of the text show an understanding of the passage and the writing task? Does the organizational structure enhance the writer’s ideas and make the essay easier to understand?
