A rubric that properly evaluates the artistic process. It measures the various phases and approaches that are necessary in the assessment of a project or a work of art.

You will create a video or PPT of 10 different scenes that depict a daily routine using only Spanish and illustrating reflexive verbs. The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate your understanding of the use of reflexive verbs, as well as when and how they are used along with the knowledge of your vocabulary

As part of a review of the elements of art, students will examine Paul Klee's artwork for use of elements of art. Students will create their own pieces with oil pastel using at least 3 elements of art, drawing on Paul Klee's artwork for inspiration.

Students will accomplish the following SLOs by creating a pen and ink drawing; AII.1 The student will expand the use of a sketchbook/journal by adding preliminary sketches, finished drawings, critical writings, and class notes. AII.5 The student will demonstrate proficiency and craftsmanship in the use of an expanded range of art media. AII.7 The student will employ the visual problem-solving process in the production of original works of art. AIII.1 The student will maintain a sketchbook/journal that demonstrates research, fluency of ideas, concepts, media, and processes. AIII.6 The student will develop skill, confidence, and craftsmanship in the use of media, techniques, and processes to achieve desired intentions in works of art. AIII.8 The student will demonstrate initiative, originality, fluency, commitment to tasks, and openness to new ideas in the creation of works of art. Each area is worth 10 points.

Students may do whatever they want to complete one page in their sketchbook per week, however creativity, originality and time spent are key to getting the most credit.
