Labeling of The Heart/Blood Flow Tracing
Label the parts of the heart marked on the diagram. Color the parts of the heart high in carbon dioxide blue & the parts of the heart high in oxygen red. In addition, color each set of heart valves a different color. Colors can not be used more than once. Then using black, use arrows to indicate the flow of blood through the heart from the body, to the lungs, and out to the body. The rubric should be neat and legible.

This rubric is designed for a recycling project that consists of 6th grade students that will organize and create a recycling program at their school. There will be group work, a power point presentation to present to the school to introduce the program A recycling bin needs to be created and finally a financial plan put into effect with the earnings of the recycled products.

First Semester Fitness Assessment

Demonstrate First Aid Skills
Students will be put in a simulated situation where their friend has hit their head and needs to be placed in the recovery position. You then discover that they stop breathing and need to be given CPR.

Students will be presented with a First Aid Kit and note card with different emergency scenarios and a checklist of everythign that the First Aid Kit has inside.
