Rubric for evaluating student presentations.

Label the parts of the heart marked on the diagram. Color the parts of the heart high in carbon dioxide blue & the parts of the heart high in oxygen red. In addition, color each set of heart valves a different color. Colors can not be used more than once. Then using black, use arrows to indicate the flow of blood through the heart from the body, to the lungs, and out to the body. The rubric should be neat and legible.

Students will create a billboard that brings awareness to a specific substance abuse.

Students will be evaluated on the following criteria; Organization - commercial flows logically, Content - Commercial explains issue, Professionalism - commercial gets the message across in professionally, Knowledge - informative production, Interest and Purpose - the commercial is interesting and allows the audience to see the purpose of it

This rubric is designed for a recycling project that consists of 6th grade students that will organize and create a recycling program at their school. There will be group work, a power point presentation to present to the school to introduce the program A recycling bin needs to be created and finally a financial plan put into effect with the earnings of the recycled products.

Students are to choose 2-3 options from a variety of project choices and use those choices to illustrate/explain their researched topic.

Students need to have journal entries for past health classes. In a notebook with journal questions and responses to the question. This fitness assessment is designed to test different levels and to act as a "benchmark" for present and future fitness assessments. This test has four (4) sections: the shuttle run, sit-up test, push up test, and a 1-mile run test.

This rubric is used to assess assignments and assessments which includes multiple choice, T/F, fill-in, matching and other similar assessment questions. This rubric takes the percentage of correct answers and translates it to the rubric scoring as indicated below. This rubric does not assess student-supplied narrative answers (short answer & essay)

Students will be put in a simulated situation where their friend has hit their head and needs to be placed in the recovery position. You then discover that they stop breathing and need to be given CPR.

Students will be presented with a First Aid Kit and note card with different emergency scenarios and a checklist of everythign that the First Aid Kit has inside. After reading the the scenarios, the student will choose the appropriate items for treatment and check which items they are using for the scenario and then describe why they chose it and how they would use it.

Rubric for evaluating student knowledge of how to control bleeding on an injured persons for arm. Be sure to list the steps in logical order. Total points 12
