Spanish Verb Conjugation Project

Travel Brochure- Spanish
You will work in groups to create a travel brochure for destination in a Spanish speaking country. You will act as travel agents/travelers and use the brochure to suggest/question an itinerary with flight information, lodging information, location and description,and typical foods. You will video tape your presentation. Include information about fun things to do, typical weather and temperatures and things to pack(optional), and a picture of the flag. The bochure and presentation will include subjunctive verbs and phrases. Brochure and videos will be turned in for analysis.

Spanish Restaurant Menu
You will design a Spanish menu for a new restaurant with Spanish foods. You must give your restaurant a name (in Spanish) and create the menu entirely in Spanish. The menu should include at least three complete meals for each category on your menu, and a list of three or more beverages and three or more desserts. The menu should be visually pleasing with with easily identifiable headings/categories, and graphics/color photos. Menu must be typed in Spanish.

Famous Spanish/Latin American Artist Project
You will be assigned a famous Spanish or Latin American artist. You may choose a painter, a classical musician or a sculptor. Your artist can be from any period; gothic, baroque, renaissance or contemporary. You must research your artist and select a piece of particular interest to you. You will write three paragraphs. In paragraph 1, you will introduce your assigned artist and give a short biography. In paragraph 2, you will state the period in which the work was created and describe the traditional characteristics of the period. Also, what have critics said about your artist's style and technique? In the 3rd paragraph, you will express why you've selected this particular piece. For example, how did the piece make you feel? Does the piece speak to you? DO NOT USE TRANSLATORS! MUST BE TYPED! You may present your selection via sketch/drawing, painting, sculpture, or a rendition of your classical piece via recording or performance.
