Students will create a comic strip describing the Engineering Design Process. Each comic strip must include all the steps in order, a description of each step, full-color drawing illustrating each step.

You, alone, are to create a public service ad. You must do this in the form of a poster. A public service announcement (PSA) or public service ad, are messages in the public interest! A public service ad raises awareness, changes public attitudes and behavior towards an issue.

Students will create an infographic about their most recent Science unit! The infographic should successfully explain the concepts they have just learned and mastered. The concepts should be correct in their visual representations and explanations!

Commercial about your Waterpark!: Your group needs to make and present a commercial about your waterpark! Your job is to utilize the many advertising techniques you learned. You will apply the concepts you learned into your 30 second commercial. Again, your job is to sell your waterpark! Good Luck!

By utilizing Greek/Latin Root list words, Mr. Moore's students will create their own spooky short story, focusing on setting, characterization, plot, creativity, and grammar. The targeted audience will be Kindergarten students at Saints Francis & Clare Catholic School!

A biography is a simply the story of a life. You are to write a biography on the life of a saint. A saint is a person officially recognized, especially by canonization, as being entitled to public veneration and capable of interceding for people on Earth.

Student groups will draw a topic from the "Circle of Grace" topic list. Student will work in pairs to create a public service announcement poster sharing important information on their topic.

With your group, you will plan your own Colony. You will be graded on the following things:

Create your own colony charter. Use the rules and society of the Connecticut Colony in the story as a starting point. Include the name of your colony, describe the structure of your government and the positions held, as well as the rules and guidelines your colonists will live by. Be creative, and feel free to make your charter visually authentic.

Menu Writing Commercial: Your group needs to make and present a commercial your new restaurant. The commercial needs to be a minimum or 30 seconds and a maximum of 60 seconds. Your group will need to film the commercial using I-Movie or Mac Trailer. If you are wise, you will remember all the propaganda techniques we studied prior to Spring Break!

Task: You along with your group members will create your very own restaurant! Your task is to come up with the type/genre, name, menu, construct a colorful and descriptive menu that will make your customer’s mouths water, and finally a commercial that advertises your restaurant! The students will work with a partner to put together a tri-fold display. The tri-fold pamphlet will contain relevant information directly related to their race car team and car engineering. Students will provide accurate information in a creative and colorful manner with pictures, taken from the internet or drawn, or scenarios to educate peers about their race team and science concepts applied!
