Students build Thinking Map--Tree Map to use in answering an extended response question with details to answer all questions while selecting appropriate vocabulary words in response to all 10 questions.

domains tree map rubric
The students will work with a partner to create a tree map that accurately shows three major domains, the basic characteristics of organisms in the domain and examples. The tree map should include the following elements: the three (3) major domains, the basic characteristics common to organisms found in that domains, and drawing/sketches of organisms found in domain. The tree map must show two (2) examples from each kingdom found in Domain Eukarya.
