This rubric provides a guide for grading students in their singing performance during music class.

Students will use common rhythms and simple melodic gestures to compose a 36 measure composition. The composition should include a major and minor scale. They will create their first 16 measures and then change their composition from a major key into a minor key. Students should include the major and minor scales in the first 4 measures before they start their composition. (16 measures of major composition, 16 measures of that composition turned into the minor scale form.)

Using the app, Adobe Voice, create a video about one of the seven musical eras (Early, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, Atonal).
