The WebQuest format can be applied to a variety of teaching situations. If you take advantage of all the possibilities inherent in the format, your students will have a rich and powerful experience. This rubric will help you pinpoint the ways in which your WebQuest isn't doing everything it could do.

EPortfolio helps students step ahead by providing a place to archive, reflect upon, and share their best work with faculty, scholarship committees or anyone else. EPortfolios can be used to showcase the entirety of an academic career. In addition to building a General Education e-Portfolio, students may choose to create a second, career-specific e-Portfolio to help impress potential employers

Create an educational simulation or game. Document the planning and design process.

Students will work in small groups to create an iMovie presentation showing life in Jamestown from the assigned perspective. Students will be asked to conduct a presentation of their movie. iMovie should be 5-7 minutes long. iMovie presentation is to include accurate information and pictures. Information must be in depth; student will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered - NO PLAGIARISM. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL.

Group members will collaborate to create and present a 2D Venn Diagram on Wol and Weeps: Cutout and attach two owls (labeled) and a single branch Identify a minimum of 3 shared and 3 different traits Use digital technology to upload a photograph of the completed owl art to moovly.com, befunky.com, or Google Slides Use selected media platform to creatively insert shared traits on the branch and differing traits on each owl Save and upload completed presentation to class Edmodo Reading 101

At the completion of this lesson, students will be able to demonstrate how to navigate through pre-selected WebSites and use research skills to find answers to Scavenger Hunt questions. Students will also be able to maneuver through a prepared form, adding text to the form.

Assessment Rubric for a Math Voicethread.

You will create an online, multi-media presentation using Voicethread: http://ed.voicethread.com. This digital storytelling project/portfolio will be a culmination of material learned in French II. Based on one of the most worldly-renowned diaries of all time, The Diary of Anne Frank (Le Journal d'Anne Frank), you will create your own authentic digital diary (Mon Journal Digital). Subsequently, you will recount your life as an adolescent in the 21st century in French.

Using the Voicethread link Mrs. Subbotin posted on Schoology, comment on each segment of the VoiceThread to indicate your understanding being as creative and insightful as possible. Listen to ideas and thoughts of your classmates as well to build on their ideas.
