Students are required to use the knowledge they have gained through a reconstruction of the Constitutional Convention of Australia in 1890, and individual research from 'Federation; Inclusion and Exclusion' to write a persuasive essay convincing the reader of the reasons for or against the federation of Australia. Students are required to follow exposition format of introduction, body and conclusion and use three reasons to support or dissuade the reader to or from federation.
