a research paper in which students choose a modern day person and show how he or she is a hero.

Classic/Modern Hero Research Project
Research and develop a full understanding of one “classic” hero of literature. Once you have explained the classic character find a modern hero who exhibits the same characteristics. This person can be a famous athlete, actor, politician, or any historical figure. The only criteria is that he or she is ALIVE as of March 1st, 2010. Research and explain in your paper how and why he or she is considered a hero/heroine of yours.
