Student will design a book jacket based on a favorite novel they have read previously.

Students will create a poster to show at least 3 heroes. At least one must be a Christian hero and one must be a hero who is non Christian. Students will explain why each is viewed as a hero.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

In small groups you will be trying to "walk in the shoes" of someone from a different religion. You will be finding out and presenting what your religion is like to others in the group and perhaps in the exhibition.

Students will design an immigration poster in the style of historical posters informing on various groups that moved to the Canadian West.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board.
